ART.
Hi All, Busy just now with setting up our first (De Scho(o)l Exhibition at the Library in Goes, Zeeland N.L. Runs from the 3rd Nov for 6 weeks. We are still busy setting up a website for De Scho(o)l - our mutual support group for Zeeland NL creatives, but if you have any questions please email me, in English or Dutch, biz3d.art@gmail.com
Thought I would share a few of my own creations with you today, some of which are in the Expo and some are illustrations for my Legends yet to be posted.
Model of the Atrium, Castle Hotel, Legend of Rise Island, posting on which will be added to 5th Wednesdays.
Claire Birman, the first of the 12 Cat Ladies. Legend of Rise Island. Bas relief.
The Original concept for ‘Heal Our World’ from the Expo “Vlissingen under Lockdown” Bas relief.
Karel Lewis tells the tale of the melting of the Last Ice Age & Creation of the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Transparent Bas Relief Panel (1 of 4).
Rise Island Taxis, depicting the second of the Cat Ladies (She still hasn’t decided on her ‘Human’ name)….(We will let you Know). Bas Relief.
The Orange Mill at Uncle Beach, Vlissingen, NL. Pencil Drawing. The mill does not process oranges, the name stems from the Royal House of Orange Dynasty. “Uncle” was the code name for the Allied Operation that led to the defeat of Hitler’s Nasties in the south of the Nederlands. After the war the townspeople started an annual Freedom Festival that has now spread throughout the entire nation. You just can’t keep good folks down !!
Here’s me opening the door to welcome you into the Castle Hotel Atrium. Legend of Rise Island. The Cat is Clarence who wanted to ride a Victorian Bicycle in the Tour Diffrance, - and did !! The two faces peering out through the ancient glass domes above are those of his Bestie Gyd. Bas Relief Collage.
Model of Simpson’s Water Tower, after the Hairyplane crash. Tales o’T’Otherwith Boy.
Water Tower Vlissingen, NL. Pencil Drawing. Without Water, there is no Life.
BOOKS.
I now have over 100 books listed as free gifts for paid subscribers. More on that on the 29 Nov. In the meantime may I recommend the most interesting non fiction book I have ever almost finished reading. Gonna read it again and make a few notes. After which it will be added to the the list of freebies
And here’s the back cover blurb……
The NeXt A, B+ C will be “Mostly Books”.
CATS.
Clarence has asked me not to tell too much cat stuff in this issue (he gets easily embarrassed) and has suggested that I might include a better pic of Gyd instead, so as it’s nearly bedtime I ain’t gonna argue. Just his Chinese head, Chen, for now. I’ll intro you to his English head, George, another time…..
Of course this is only a representative sculpture made from found materials, the real beast is about 200x this size. which is why you rarely see him. See y’soon. Maurice.

Some cool artwork here. I particularly liked the water tower.
I agree, I really like the pencil drawings.
