I like your emphasis - we're all blaming others, but we're all consumers. It begs the question, how are we contributing to the BIG mess?

Hi Mark.... every time one of us fills the tank we support big oil. Every time we buy a petrochemical product, or an item made with such we support big oil. Every time we shop at the supermarket we support big oil, big pesticide, big plastic, big food, and poison our kids. Every time we turn our head, we endorse these industries. Mea Culpa. We invented the technology of destruction and chose to use it, together. I believe that we have the technology to mitigate the destruction now, together; and to reverse it soon, together. Us and them is a simple method of understanding the issues, when in reality there is no them only us. Grok in peace, Maurice.

Hello Maurice, I would agree, though the - "Us AND Them," at least in my mind equates to - we're all in this together whether we recognize it or not, whether we think we're inherently different than other people or not. At least in the US there's a major sense that it's - Us AGAINST Them - almost like a hierarchy. It is that myth that I'm trying to dispel on what has become a tiny, very sick planet.

Cheers, Mark

Well it goes deep, inadequate

language structures give us restrictive labels to struggle with, thus confounding any grasp of the psychological factors that determine action. Education lacks the curriculum. When knowledge became a commodity, truth and wisdom wisdoms were lost in the cradle of greed.

ie :- who founded the universities ?? Peace, Maurice.

Location, location, location. Place a thermometer 6 feet (1.83 meters) above ground level, with full shade and no wind. Now you're measuring temperature like a Pro!

Hi Pierre, this I know, having spent two years soldiering in the Yemeni desert, back i n the sixties. It's accurate for measuring in fixed conditions. But when you're out in the open without a choice....... Peace Maurice

Yes sir that’s very true! I do know something about living in the desert. Haven’t done any soldiering here ,but I am preparing to do so on my 20 acres in Southeast Arizona. One thing I’ve come to realize is you don’t really need a thermometer here… It’s either really hot or it’s not!

Gonna be like that soon enough here in Europe too, Pierre. I am inclined to move in the opposite direction to Climate refugees. Thinking of setting up a community of creative thinkers cum practical hands, to study how to live sustainably under less favorable conditions. A deserted hamlet in N. Spain or W. France would do nicely.... Currently fitting a Solar Powered Trike and Trailer whilst improving my Gardening Skills. Regards, Maurice

As a public service to all of Humanity, I hereby am willing to accept ALL responsibility for the woes inflicted upon our dear Mother Earth from Time immemorial, the Present, until the Great Hereafter. Of course, I accept no financial responsibility; however, I offer to take away the Sins of the World insofar as ALL self-loathing and shame need not ever be felt again, in my name, Amen. May the words "Mia Culpa" only remind the World of the one true Environmental Messiah, remind the World of the Burdens brought to His feet so that He could bear them for you, and the World could Live as one, in my name, Amen.

Okay, that should take care of everything except the Media and Me. The "Me" part is easy; I'll be busier than a Tick on a Dog!

The Media part is tough. No one can do anything about the Media...Who do you think I am, Christ Almighty?
