Some did have good hearts and honest intentions, only one of them was a senior national leader - Those at local level were unlikely to ascend the barriers erected by the three major parties. This is truth that seems to be universal. Every country, every county, every State or any and every place that is Theirs, not ours, as we were kind and they took advantage.

Semantics is a huge issue, too, if one group says they deserve something or are owed something, others will take issue over the definition of "deserve" and "owed". You're right.
