HOW TO HEAL OUR WORLD.

Two weeks ago I wrote “Reconsidering the Thrust” about needing, with others, to reach a broader audience via collaborations. For some weeks I have been promoting Suzanne Taylor’s brilliant concept of how to bring the influences of a whole cohort of writers together, in turn to create a discussion on Saving the World. Suzanne is now busy deciding on which writers will receive a total of $12,000 prize money. She tells me that her subscriptions have jolted upwards - in part due to my support. How I did that was by spending upto three hours a day reading as many author’s posts as possible, commenting on many and, where appropriate, suggesting that Suzanne’s concept (Essay Contest) may be of interest. I restacked a few of those authors, some more than once. More importantly I restacked Suzanne the most.

But why all the effort ? It’s because I believe that Suzanne is better placed, and has better resources than I do. I believe that she can be a more effective catalyst than I.

You, Dear reader, must surely be aware that the Media is ranting about the issues of climate / corruption facing us all, without much serious effort to create a dialogue for solutions to these issues. That’s because the right wing Media MAKE MONEY out of driving APATHY. Governing bodies of political and large corporate bodies persecute whistle blowers. Ask now: Are the exposures of such persecution actually a tool to terrify the rest of us ?? Does it work, or does it make us more determined ?…..

You have seen the the results of the far right’s Insane Greed. You have realized that it is time to say NO MORE ! The Center Left is rising to the challenges, resisting the madness, encouraging we the people to take Effective, Peaceful action - Together.

Take a look at Greenpeace, E Jean Carrol, We Own It, Mary Trump, Third Act, Ricky from Council Estate, Rachel Donald of Planet Critical, Dr Julia Grace Patterson. We must accept that we have been tricked into rampant exploitive consumerism, particularly by the gross vested interests of the oil industry. We Must Accept Our Own Complicity too. AND we Must Accept Our Attendant Responsibility. We cannot rely on technology in the hands of those vested interests, for it is Warfare that has driven, throughout history, most of the technology we have today. REMEMBER - it is vested interests that start Wars.

I often hear from people who want to do something, but don’t know what. Some of the examples above may provide inspiration, there are now thousands of grassroot groups on the internet. Read all you can, maybe write about them, spread the word. TIP:- If you approve of the words and efforts of Substack writers, one of the best ways to put their posts to a random wider readership is to hit the Restack Button (the circle of two arrows next to Like, or Comment). You will see two options….. Send…. or….. Send with your comment. Do it for Suzanne, do it for each other, do it for Our World.
